I'm not dead.

What a month!

Between the Wedding, Honeymoon and Christmas - December has been one big ride. I'm almost looking forward to things getting back to normal. Almost.

The plus side of normality is that I get to get back in the gym and studio again - and with the credit crunch hitting us all harder than a P.O.ed Mike Tyson, studio time is something I need more than Popeye needs spinach.

Speaking of studio time, I recently posted up a few pages on Digital Webbing that I was planning on submitting to 2000ad a few months ago. As it stands the submission is incompleate, but I figured I'd post it anyway.

Go take a look.

Wedding pics.

Hey guys, it's been about a week since I was here. The last seven days have been a blur as Eva and I got married last Wednesday and spent the following few days up in London on a mini Honeymoon. We found time to check DW on our phones but were unable to post from them. It was so cool to see that not only had facebook been bombared with our Wedding pics before we arrived at the hotel, but DW had a link up to them.

For those of you who didn't get to see the pics on facebook, here's a few snaps of our week.

The beautiful bride.

The big moment.

The first photo of my mum and dad together for 15 years. There was a real messy divorce, so seeing them both come together for our day really meant a lot to me.

Posing in the car that we were to leave the reception to ride home (or so I thought). It's my fathers car and what the bride arrived in.

Getting in the REAL car - and yes, I know the limo is pink, but Eva picked it! It was a total surprise to me.

The ride up to London for the Honeymoon was far too long and we got hungry.

The next day in London. We went on the London eye. This was another huge moment for me as I'm brown pants scared of heights.

Getting fishie in the Sea life Centre.

The first dance.

And this was taken at our second reception on the Friday night after we got back from London.

We also got to see Wicked and spend far too long walking around the biggest toy shops and Comic book stores that I've ever seen.

All in all, it was a total blast!

Socks and gods - 5 days to go.

I remember writing somewhere (it was either my first or second novel) about the hilarity of celebrating the birth of a god who never existed by buying your uncle some socks. Now I stand by my words and refuse to acknowledge the whole Christmas thing, but times and situations change and this year I'll be taking part in my first Christmas in over a decade.

I'm telling myself that it's for the kids. Not so much Conner, he's smart enough to realise that Christmas is more about getting goodies than fictional babies in mangers. In fact he's already leaving windows open on my pc with stupidly expensive phones on display, not that his hinting will do any good, I'm broke. Me thinks the boy will be getting an orange in his stocking at this rate.

So yeah, I tell myself it's for the kids. Vinnie is going to be the big one this year, only being two this will be the first Christmas that he's aware of what's going on. He's already telling me that Father Christmas is going to bring him a "Big Bing Bang toy" (Bing Bang is what he calls Lazy town).

The biggest kid of them all though is Eva - who btw will be my wife in 5 days. I feel bad that I can't buy her all the things that I know she'd want for Christmas, but I'm hoping that I can gather together enough to make her smile on the day. Even if it's just a card that says "To my Wife" and pair of socks.

Viewer Discretion

We've got to be more careful with what TV we allow Vinnie to watch. Normally we're quite good and wait until the 2 year old has gone to bed before we put the wrestling on.

We missed a step yesterday when Conner - the twelve year old - put on the recent Pay Per View in the middle of the day.

Now instead of hearing little Vinnie practice saying "1 - 2 - 3" this morning I overheard him saying "1 - 2 - Kickout!"

Kids!
